When you open the ThermaCare pouch, the wrap will begin to warm immediately and will reach its therapeutic temperature of about 40° C within 30 minutes. ThermaCare delivers at least 8 hours of controlled, therapeutic heat and when worn for 8 hours can go on to provide up to 16 hours of effective relief right at the site of muscular aches and pains. Each wrap is for a single use and can be disposed of in your household waste whether warm or cold.

An air-activated reaction of materials causes ThermaCare to heat up. The discs begin warming up immediately and reach their therapeutic temperature (approximately 40° C) within 30 minutes.
