The Cardioace^® formulation includes 1.3g of plant sterols. The latest scientific research indicates that these plant sterols may help maintain to healthy High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) levels,‘Good’ cholesterol levels.

Resveratrol included in Cardioace^® Plus formulation
Cardioace^® Plus contains a natural compound called resveratrol, a phytochemical found in red grape skins which may be partly responsible for the health benefit attributed to red wine. Resveratrol may help support vascular health.

Cardioace^® Plus formulation includes Co Q10
Co Q10 is involved in energy production within the cells and is important for the function of organs.

Omega-3 fish oils included in Cardioace^® Plus
The Cardioace^® formulation includes omega-3 fish oil, a rich source of EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). Humans probably evolved on a diet with a ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids of approximately 1 to 1, but today we consume many more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3s - between 10 to 25 times more!

Omega-3 fatty acids may play an important role in helping to maintain all round cardiovascular health. The EPA in omega-3 fish oil is also thought to be a direct source of an important substance influencing platelet adhesion which may mean it helps support the flow of blood through our vessels.

Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant and may be beneficial for heart health by helping to support the body against free radicals, which cause oxidation. Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL), commonly known as 'bad cholesterol', is the main supplier of cholesterol to tissues. High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) scavenges for free cholesterol in the tissues and transports it back to the liver, so it is known as 'good cholesterol'. Oxidation of HDL interferes with its role in cholesterol transport. Antioxidants like lycopene, zinc, selenium, vitamins E and C also in Cardioace^® Plus help to support the body against free radicals, which can oxidise LDL and HDL, and may therefore be beneficial for heart health.

Garlic
Garlic may help balance 'good' (high-density lipoprotein-HDL) through its role in helping to regulate cholesterol production by the liver. Garlic may also help to maintain normal arterial health.

Homocysteine and heart health
Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid work in synergy to help maintain healthy levels of a blood amino acid called homocysteine. Analysis has revealed that high levels of homocysteine are a strong independent factor in heart health, accounting for as much as 10% of the combined influence of all known factors in heart health.

Orders dispatched using Standard Delivery can take between 2 to 5 working days to arrive. Standard Delivery orders are dispatched using the Royal Mail Tracked Service. This is a priority service with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your order on its journey to you. You will be required to sign for the parcel so please ensure that you are available at your delivery address between 9am and 5pm on your expected delivery day. (see Tracking My Order)

Standard Delivery is FREE for orders over £50.

For orders of less than £50 there will be a delivery charge of £2.95.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day (subject to stock availability)

Special Delivery Next Day (Next Working Day)**

This is our express delivery option and orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be usually be dispatched the same day using Royal Mail Special Delivery for a guaranteed next working day delivery. This service has a tracking number for your parcel so you can follow your orders progress on its journey to you (see Tracking My Order). You will be required to sign for the parcel so please ensure that you are available at your delivery address between 9am to 5pm on your expected delivery day.

Please be aware this service is not gauranteed on a Saturday in some areas and you item may be delivered on the following monday if ordered after 2pm on Thursday.
