E45 Emollient Wash Cream - 250ml

A gentle but effective non-drying cleanser, E45 Wash relieves and helps prevent dryness by helping your skin retain its natural moisture. Free from soap and detergent, it’s recommended by dermatologists to help with more serious dry skin conditions but is gentle enough to use every day.

How does it work?

This preparation contains a blend of mineral oils and zinc oxide. It is used for washing dry, itchy skin conditions where the use of an emollient soap substitute is required. It does not change the normal pH of the skin, nor does it dry out the skin. It is used in place of soap in conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and icthyosis.

What is it used for?

• Eczema
• Inflammation of the skin (dermatitis)
• Inherited, non-inflammatory dryness and scaling of the skin (ichthyosis, xeroderma)
• Psoriasis

Warning!

• Avoid contact of this medicine with the eyes.
• When using this preparation in the bath or shower take care to avoid slipping, especially when getting in or out, as this preparation may make the bath/shower more slippery than usual.

Not to be used in

• Known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.

If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, before using any medicine.

• There are no known harmful effects when this medicine is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

Orders dispatched using Standard Delivery can take between 2 to 5 working days to arrive. Standard Delivery orders are dispatched using the Royal Mail Tracked Service. This is a priority service with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your order on its journey to you. You will be required to sign for the parcel so please ensure that you are available at your delivery address between 9am and 5pm on your expected delivery day. (see Tracking My Order)

Standard Delivery is FREE for orders over £50.

For orders of less than £50 there will be a delivery charge of £2.95.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day (subject to stock availability)

Special Delivery Next Day (Next Working Day)**

This is our express delivery option and orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be usually be dispatched the same day using Royal Mail Special Delivery for a guaranteed next working day delivery. This service has a tracking number for your parcel so you can follow your orders progress on its journey to you (see Tracking My Order). You will be required to sign for the parcel so please ensure that you are available at your delivery address between 9am to 5pm on your expected delivery day.

Please be aware this service is not gauranteed on a Saturday in some areas and you item may be delivered on the following monday if ordered after 2pm on Thursday.
